The Year 5/6 indoor athletics team went to Streetly Academy on Wednesday afternoon and competed brilliantly in the indoor athletics event. They all represented the school well and cheered each other on enthusiastically. We have not yet received the results - but we did win a number of the running races and if we didn't win, the children generally came second or third. All the children put everything into their events and were a credit to the school.
One of our pupils - Joey - did by far the longest javelin throw in his group and was chosen by the organisers as our Athlete of the Day because of his determination, achievement and participation!
UPDATE - We have won the local competition and made it through to the Walsall Finals!!!
