Year 1 had a wonderful time visiting Beacon Church. During their visit, the children learned about baptism and enjoyed acting out a baptism using Elsa the doll. They also took part in creative activities, making a colourful cross and creating a beautiful dove collage. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about an important Christian celebration in a fun and engaging way.

Year 5 children visited Beacon Church to explore a range of Christian artefacts and learn more about the Christian faith. During the visit, they examined important objects used in worship, including the Bible, candles, the font, the altar and the cross. The children listened carefully to explanations about the meaning and purpose of each artefact and asked thoughtful questions throughout the session. Thank you to our Year 3 children and School Choir for the lovely Easter Service at Beacon Church this morning. The children sang beautifully and gave us a lovely start to our Easter Celebrations Thank you to all the family and friends who joined us and Rev Chris for the warm welcome.

We had some lovely Easter bonnets on parade this week - with our Nursery event on Monday and our Reception event on Tuesday. Our Reception donned their bonnets again on Wednesday for a parade around the school - happily waving through classroom windows at our older children! Thank you for all the creations!

We are incredibly proud of all the children who took part in Reception's Christmas production. Every child sang and performed beautifully, filling the hall with festive cheer and getting us all into the Christmas spirit.
