Year 4 explored how levers and linkages work to create moving mechanisms. They then applied their new skills to design and create their own interactive book pages, bringing their ideas to life with moving parts!

Children in Year 1 explored structures by designing and building their own bridges. They practised cutting, folding and joining materials, using their creativity and knowledge of structures to make their bridges strong and stable.

As part of their Geography and D.T. topics, Year 1 went on a walk around the local area. For Geography, they were looking for human features in our local area including houses, shops and a church. For our D.T. Topic 'Shade and Shelter' the children will be creating their own shelter so they went on the walk to identify different types of shelters including garages, carports and sheds.
