Year 3 Step Back in Time: A Stone Age Adventure

Year 3 had a fantastic day stepping back in time to the Stone Age, where they discovered what life was like in a Stone Age tribe. The children explored ancient cave paintings and even created their own, gaining insight into how early humans expressed themselves. They also enjoyed trying their hand at archery and learning about the clothing worn during this period. The children explored bones too, discovering how Stone Age people used them to create tools and jewellery. It was an exciting, hands-on experience that brought history to life and deepened their understanding of the Stone Age.
