Remembering at Barr Beacon War Memorial

Year 6 attended the Remembrance wreath-laying ceremony at Barr Beacon War Memorial today, joining others to honour the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country and those who have lost their lives in conflict.

Malumbo and Avneet were chosen to lay a wreath on behalf of our school, alongside representatives from other schools, dignitaries and veterans.

It was a meaningful opportunity for our children to reflect on the importance of Remembrance, showing respect and gratitude to those who have made sacrifices for our freedom. We are incredibly proud of them for representing our school with such dignity.
