Year 1 Step into the Past!

Year 1 had an exciting day at the Museum of Childhood at Sudbury, enhancing their learning in history. The children became toy detectives, exploring toys from the past and comparing them to the ones they play with today.

They also stepped back in time to experience what it was like to go to school during the Victorian period. In the Victorian school room, the children wrote on slates and learned about the rules and expectations for children at that time.

The visit was a fantastic opportunity for the children to see, touch, and experience history, making their learning both fun and memorable.
