Summer Term 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a very busy few weeks for us all - Sports Days, concerts, performances and preparations for the end of the year. Thank you for your support at these events - the staff and the children are really grateful.
Please could I remind parents about parking in and around the local area. We do appreciate that finding parking spaces can be difficult at tricky times, but blocking driveways causes significant difficulties for residents who are trying to get to work or school or appointments. Inconsiderate parking can also cause issues for our children as they are trying to cross roads safely. Please just allow a few minutes extra on your journey to park slightly further away from the gates if needed.
Reports will be coming out to parents and carers on Friday 11th July.

Year 2 Production of Hansel and Gretel
This week we saw the production of Hansel and Gretel performed by our Year 2 pupils. IT was really lovely and we saw some excellent solos, duets, group songs and dances as well as all our Year 2 children singing together. Thank you to parents and carers for supporting with costumes and helping the children learn their lines!
Increase in the cost of a school tie
Please note that there has been a slight increase in the cost of our school tie.
Elastic ties are now £3.50 and long ties are now £4.00.
Cricket
A year 6 girls cricket team went to Aldridge CC to play in a local cricket tournament. They played 5 games. Unfortunately they lost to St. Thomas, Cooper and Jordan, Leighswood, and Pelsall Village but managed to beat Rushall. They all got thoroughly involved and enjoyed the day .

Football - inter Trust
A mixed team of Year 5/6 footballers travelled to Elston Hall for a friendly match and our team managed an excellent win 7 - 0! Well done to our team - particularly those who have not previously had the opportunity to represent our school.
