Summer Term 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last newsletter of the year and the last newsletter written by me! What an emotional day it has been for our Year 6 children (and parents...and staff!). These children have embraced all that the last year has had to offer - their excellent performance in Joseph, their end of year SATs results, their reports and their Leavers Assembly today.  A lovely way to end the year!

Our achievement assemblies have taken place this week and children’s achievements in their learning, sports and friendship towards others have been recognised.

Please can we say a massive thank you to parents and carers for all your support this year and for everything you do for your children. We have a remarkable set of children here and they are such a credit to you all. Thank you also for your end of year comments and kind words to individual members of staff - these are always passed on to them.

From all of the staff at Pheasey, have a lovely Summer break with your families.

For our Year 6 children and parents, we wish you all the very best in your new schools and in all of your future adventures. We will remember you all and I will be cheering you on - from the sidelines now!

Good luck and best wishes from all of the Staff at Pheasey

Mrs Arnold and all the staff

Achievement Assemblies

At the end of every year, children are nominated for a range of different awards including drama, swimming and sport. These are presented during our end of term Achievement Assemblies.

Well done to our End of Year Achievement award winners for 2026!

Winners of the 3 Rs Prize Draw

Every time a child completes their Achievement Book by collecting House Points, their name is added to a prize draw to win a £10 Voucher. They are awarded House Points for excellent effort and also for the 3 Rs - Respect, Responsibility and Ready to Learn.

In the end of term Assembly, the lucky winners were:

Year 1 - Grace

Year 2 - Ayla

Year 3 - Arya-Rose

Year 4 - Ariana

Year 5 - Rubani

Year 6 - Isla-Rose

Year 3 Recorders

From September, all Year 3 pupils will need a recorder for their weekly music lesson - they will be performing for parents in the Summer Term!

Recorders can be bought from local music shops, online or through school via Arbor.

Year 6 Production of Joseph

What an amazing performance last week of Joseph from our Year 6 pupils. The singing was outstanding - from individuals, to groups, to the whole Year 6 ensemble, we have some very talented youngsters and we know parents and carers will be very proud, and rightly so. Opportunities like this give children a chance to shine, and they couldn't have shone any brighter. Well done everyone and what a way to end your time at Pheasey.

Year 2 Production - Cinderella Rockerfella

Not last week but the week before, we saw the production of Cinderella Rockerfella performed by our Year 2 pupils. It was really lovely and we saw some excellent solos, duets, group songs and dances as well as all our Year 2 children singing together. Thank you to parents and carers for supporting with costumes and helping the children learn their lines!

Dinner Money increase

There will be meal price increase of 6p by Miquill in September to £2.66
