School Council Meets the Mayor

Our School Council enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visiting the Mayor’s Parlour. The children had the opportunity to meet the Mayor, learn about her role within the community, and ask thoughtful questions. They were also given a special tour of the Council Chamber, where official council meetings take place. The visit was both inspiring and informative, giving our School Council members a closer look at how local democracy works. To top off the experience, the children were delighted to receive a gift from the Mayor.
