This term in reception we have been learning about different artists. We looked at artwork by Jann Karam, Jim Dine, James Goldcrown and Chris Uphues. We created some abstract artwork in the style of Jann Karam, using our hands to spread and print paint onto our paper. We decorated love hearts with bright colours in the style of Jim Dine. Like James Goldcrown, we drew lots and lots of hearts in as many colours as we could find. Then, for our final artist, we coloured in love hearts with bright colours and then put a face on them to represent an emotion.
