On Monday 13th November a workshop regarding the Y4 Multiplication Tables Check was delivered to Y4 parents. The aims of the workshop were to explain the importance of times tables recall, to share information about the purpose, expectations and organisation of the Multiplication Tables Check and to provide information regarding ways that parents can support their children to learn their times tables at home. During the workshop, parents were informed about the opportunities that pupils are provided with in school to learn and practise their times tables; they were also shown the online resources used to support teaching and learning. Parents and pupils were provided with 1:1 devices and were given time to explore the online resources together.
