First Kicks, Big Smiles: Year 3/4 Girls at the Streetly Football Tournament

On Tuesday 21st October a Year 3/4  girls football team went to Streetly to take part in a football tournament aimed at giving girls who haven't played football a go and taking part in an event representing their school. The girls came across a very experienced side in their first game and despite losing heavily kept their heads and carried on having a go. In the next two games they steadily improved and became much more involved. At the end of the afternoon all the girls said they had enjoyed the event and would like to play more football.
