Fantastic Football Effort from Year 5 and 6

This afternoon the boys and girls Year 5/6 football teams went to Delves to play in their respective leagues.

The boys played really well as a team, impressing Mr Wheelwright who was supervising them, and won 3 - 1. Mason scored a hat trick! Conditions were fairly tricky, the ground being very muddy and slippery.

The girls played in a very evenly contested game, drawing it 1 - 1. Unfortunately  the girls did manage to get the ball over the goal line a second time but the referee was unable to see it  cross. Delves then scored their equaliser a minute later. However a draw was probably a fair result.
