Eco Warriors' Birdwatch Picnic!

For their final meeting of the year, our Eco Warriors requested a birdwatch, so on Friday we took our packed lunches out onto the field and enjoyed lunch surrounded by nature.

We used the Merlin app to listen to the sounds of birds; we heard blue tits, sparrows and a magpie and we saw pigeons, blue tits and black birds! We even saw a pigeon protecting its nest! Such a lovely idea from the Eco Warriors and a tradition we hope to continue.
